During this month I developed and held a workshop with Kingston MA Sustainable Design students. This was intended to help develop ideas and debate around alcohol in the urban realm and design opportunities. As a basis for the workshop I used three original persona journey maps as a method of introducing the students to the complexities of individual journeys / issues, in three different scenarios. They then worked in groups to look at ways in which we could make changes through design. One of the most interesting suggestions to come out of these discussions was a ‘licence to drink’, as discussed in a separate article.
